Efficiency versus Effectiveness
The term “efficiency” has been abused through over-use. In its most general form, efficiency is defined as the number of results produced in a given period of time. Given this definition, efficiency is not necessarily improved by multi-tasking, connection, and even interaction. PalmSource Announces Another Asian Licensee

has announced that Group Sense PDA Limited (GSPDA) has signed an agreement to license the OS. Under the terms of the agreement, GSPDA will develop and market handhelds for the Asia Pacific region, including China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, and Singapore.

Handspring Commits to Keyboards

Handspring has decided that none of its future products will use Graffiti as their primary method of entering text. Instead, they will all include built-in keyboards. At least, this is what The Register was told by Handspring product manager Will Rees.
