Nokia E75

Nokia releases a lot of mobiles. And many times, if you aren’t really paying attention, this company will slide under your nose something like the Nokia E75 — the kind of device that grabs and keeps your attention.

This is a good thing, except that you won’t find this device in a carrier store. Which is a shame, because in build and performance the E75 touches the bar a bit higher than even the highly-regarded Nokia E71 released last year.

Samsung Jack Review

The Samsung Jack is the latest in a line of bar-style Windows Mobile smartphones with a physical QWERTY keyboard and a 3.2 megapixel camera, along with expected features such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless networking.

It is currently available from AT&T for $99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, which is an attractive price for a device that does many — but not all – things well.

Apple iPhone 3G S

The iPhone 3.0 software has been long awaited by users all across the world. For almost 2 years, iPhone users have lacked some of the most basic software functions such as Copy/Paste, MMS, and Search. Basically, functions that other phones have been doing for years were finally brought to the iPhone.

This is the system software for the new iPhone 3G S, but it’s also available as an upgrade for the current iPhone 3G and the iPod touch. I’ve installed it on my phone, and have plenty of praise, and a few complaints.

Palm Pre Review

The most eagerly-awaited phone of the year is finally here: Sprint is releasing the Palm Pre.

This device marks the debut of the webOS, which many are expecting to become a major force in the smartphone market. At this point it’s too early to say how this is going to play out, but I can say that so far it’s looking very good for Palm and Sprint.
