MARGI Announces Presenter-To-Go

MARGI Systems has announced its new Presenter-To-Go technology, which allows users to wirelessly present from any laptop or using the 802.11b standard. It also enables -free presentations from removable media (CompactFlash, Secure Digital, and USB devices). The technology is available now for licensing by projector manufacturers and for bundling with handhelds.

MARGI also announced that is the first to license the technology for inclusion in the new Digital Projector models xp8010 and xp8020. The xp8010 is projected to ship in July 2003, at an estimated price of $4999. The xp8020 will ship by the end of 2003 at an estimated price of $6999.

Developer Site Updated

House has announced that the Developer Network Web site (www.pocketpcdn.com) has been updated to include 107 articles on development, information on 25 Developer books, 80 libraries and controls, 19 developer tools, and links to over 800 developer articles in 38 different categories. Four new sections (Control Panel, .NET CF, Password Protection, and Audio) have also been added. All developers are welcome at no charge.

HD Mail Page for

Hand Data Inc. has announced a new e-mail application for users. HD Mail Page can periodically check one or more e-mail accounts and alert the user when e-mail has been received, automatically powering up the at pre-determined intervals, checking for e-mail, and powering down when finished.

HD Mail Page uses the POP3 accounts that the user has set up in Inbox and sends e-mail that is in the Outbox but adds more features to the built-in Inbox application. A trial version is available at www.handdata.com, and HD Mail Page can be purchased for $19.95.

BtToggle updated

BtToggle 1.7, a utility that provides increased control over the Tungsten T’s radio, is now available from Peter Easton. The new version includes the option to automatically turn on when dialing a number from the address book.

New StarCaddy Trial Version

Golfers can now try StarCaddy’s golf yardage and on their own course with the release of the new demo version of StarCaddy. and users can also download a free trial map of a golf course of their choice to use with the demo. The demo can be downloaded at www.starcaddy.com, and thousands of trial maps are available. Trial maps are free but limited to the first nine holes of the course. Users can upgrade to the full version, which includes one full course map, for $49.95.
