New Cases and Accessories Available Soon for Dell Axim, Sony UX50, Others
Covertec
Covertec has announced a new line of aluminum hard cases. The metal cases feature a neoprene lining, space for one or two expansion cards (depending on the model), and a side lock to prevent accidental case opening. Supported handhelds include the palmOne Zire 71, Tungsten T 1/2/3, Tungsten E, plus the HP iPAQ h4155, h2215, and h3800/h5500 series.
Covertec has also announced new leather cases for both the Toshiba e400 and the Dell Axim X3, as well as several new accessories for the O2 XDA II, including a leather case that features a belt clip, two business card slots, two expansion card slots, and an opening for the camera lens. The black case is available now, with red and brown versions expected within two weeks. Other XDA II accessories coming next week include a screen protector, charge and sync cable, a travel charger, a USB Sync & Charge cable, and a car charger.

Xigma
Xigma has announced two new cases for the Sony CLIE UX50.

The Deluxe model, or “Xigma Flip DX” is made of calf skin on the outside and suede on the inside, with the device held in the case by a plastic clip. Additional features include a credit card slot and space for expansion card storage. Available colors include black, red, and beige. The case is $69, plus an international shipping charge of $11.
An organizer model is also available, which allows the user to store three inch and five inch organizer page refills, as well as two Memory Sticks, three credit cards, and some currency. The organizer model is $79, plus an $11 international shipping charge.

Carcom
Carcom has released the Mobile PDA Carkit for the Qtek 2020, XDA II, MDA II, and i-Mate. The kit includes a cradle with built-in charging, as well as RS-232 and PS/2 connections to connect the handheld to a GPS receiver or other accessories.
